You’ve heard you can’t have it all and the reality is you can as long as you know what having it all means to you.

If you ask a room full of people if they want to grow, most of the hands go in the air. But if you asked them to share how they have grown in the past year, most of the hands go down. Why? Because growth is unknown, uncomfortable, and scary. Growth is letting go. Growth is challenging who we are today to become who we say we want to be tomorrow. Growth is addressing our stubborn belief systems head on.
We believe that a life well spent has several different and unique chapters. In order to accomplish that, we must be committed to challenging our belief systems, to evolving our mindsets, to letting go of and developing new habits and behaviors. All of this is incredibly easy to agree with, but very difficult to do, especially since it’s not a one-time thing. If we’re committed to a life-long journey of growth, purpose, and fulfillment, we have to do this again and again and again. We have to lean into uncertainty, vulnerability, discipline, and change, and we have to let go of comfort, certainty, and security. We have to rethink what is possible for us and reimagine what we’re capable of.
We (Anne and Brett) have similar views on what our priorities are at this stage of our life: fulfillment, family, wealth, and health. While filling up those buckets looks different for each of us, we’re committed to giving priority to these areas on a daily basis.
It wasn’t always this way though. Collectively, we’ve had our fair share of demons, substance abuse, loss, failure, fear, small-minded thinking, low self-esteem, ego-centric years, and toxic relationships…some of which we were responsible for.
Let’s be real: none of us have it all figured out and frankly, that’s not what we’re after. We’re smart enough to know that if we ever feel that way, we’re not playing big enough. The key is having a diverse and experienced community that can give advice and guidance to one another as we enter new and uncertain chapters. This helps us retain our peace and grace and reduces stress and chaos that can come with change.
This is why we’re hosting these retreats.
